I'm sure you do but it might be worth looking at where you're eating and who you are with and how you feel.

I could write the same thing you're saying about here it is a year later and I'm sitting here not weigh not much less than I did last year. And I consider you a weight loss blogger too. It's not a problem that can be solved and have a big stamp saying, "Case Closed" on it. Just keep trying. You may have to fine tune it further.Lori G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02167055316077502640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-603236343539244152.post-64847163095324246762008-01-17T08:33:00.000-08:002008-01-17T08:33:00.000-08:00To answer Vickie, I am continuing with the one-on-...To answer Vickie, I am continuing with the one-on-one yoga for a few reasons. There are no class times/places that work for me at my level right now. I need to get more strong and learn variations before heading to a class where I'll do variations myself (unfortunately, out here, there are SO many yoga teachers who are really NOT qualified as "real" yoga teachers so they can't give good variations...I know some, even a lot, but not enough to give myself variations yet). It's important for me to do this to get stronger and smarter so I don't hurt myself when I head to a class. I wish there was an Iyengar place or even class close to me because it is so good for injuries, but the Iyengar center in L.A. is just too far away to be practical for me. :-(Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07856254838049366414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-603236343539244152.post-89216394255356075072008-01-17T02:59:00.000-08:002008-01-17T02:59:00.000-08:00You started out with the one-on -one to get back i...You started out with the one-on -one to get back into the swing of things.

Are you continueing the one-on-one because no class times work for you? or because you can't modify enough in the classes to make it work?

don't misunderstand me - I think it is GREAT that you are doing the one-on-one - I just wondered why more.

PS - Nan takes nearly the same yoga classes that I do - with major knee problems. She can't do a lot of things. Colleen is so used to having Nan in class that as she is leading class she will give alternatives for the "knee- challenged" now - in every class. She also give alternatives for the balance challenged, the opening shoulders challenged, etc. Colleen is in her 30's and has no physical problems herself - but she has figured out that if you teach mostly 45-70 year olds - there are going to be physcial issues and she just addresses them up front.Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05452333714845476967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-603236343539244152.post-76482312354453179892008-01-16T18:48:00.000-08:002008-01-16T18:48:00.000-08:00Helen, sounds like a great plan. I think the money spent on one-on-one yoga sessions will pay for themselves by just making you feel so good after your workout.Grumpy Chairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17719618593765537673noreply@blogger.com
