I hope the toe thing clears up, that is too long for you to be dealing with infections. Hope you get to relax and have a good holiday.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06400492104098347769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-603236343539244152.post-78794708123228901002007-12-19T08:55:00.000-08:002007-12-19T08:55:00.000-08:00Helen I'm so sorry about your toe. I remember years ago Johnny Carson interviewed a man who was left waiting an hour or so for his dr. appointment. He ended up leaving and billing the doctor for his (the patient's) hourly wage - said he waisted his time.

I too am having weird little flutters in my chest - they checked my thyroid and said the meds I'm on now are fine. I also had echocardiogram and stress test (taking another stress test Friday because it came out inconclusive).

Hang in there.Grumpy Chairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17719618593765537673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-603236343539244152.post-50403402067122063162007-12-19T06:30:00.000-08:002007-12-19T06:30:00.000-08:00First I think everyone's right and it's too much m...First I think everyone's right and it's too much medicine. It's a pain to regulate the medicines for hypothyroid.

Your toe doctor is a you-know-what. Two hours? That's unbelievable. I'm glad you dropped the lawyer-bomb on him. :-) I used to work in infectious diseases and you don't want to have an infection in the bone either.

As for the cookies, Helen, two cookies isn't going to make you gain weight. It's the third or fourth cookie along with "just" a glass of egg nog or something else and the downward spiral....Lori G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02167055316077502640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-603236343539244152.post-34043628621301599452007-12-19T03:20:00.000-08:002007-12-19T03:20:00.000-08:00Which yoga video are you trying?I like the combina...Which yoga video are you trying?

I like the combination of
triangle to
standing half moon
and then dropping back to triangle

I also like Warrior 1
to Warrior 3
back to Warrior 1

That second set Barbara has us do it that way because from Warrior 1, you can sort of just lay down on that bent knee and then straighten the leg up into Warrior 3 and then go back down the same way.

so my question is - using those two little sets - can you suggest other standing poses to incorporate for a good standing series? I did one with Colleen a while back that I really loved with lots of triangle to extended side angle and warriors - that really worked opening my chest and getting my obliques - but neither she nor I can remember the sequence.

So sorry about your toe.

I (personally) think a LOT of it is the California system - Sharla Rae had a terrible time - my mom's husband's oldest's daughter's husband just south of you had a really terrible time and his was cancer. It was almost like they were trying to drag out his treatment so he would just die and they didn't have to treat him/deal with him. . .Vickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05452333714845476967noreply@blogger.com
