...feeling VERY fat. I need exercise and to seriously STOP salt.
It's supposed to rain where we are going until Saturday so we'll be staying in a motel for the first two nights. Back on Tuesday...hopefully having not gained MORE. :-(
I think it is a BIG step to really understand the going out to eat/salt thing. there are a lot of people that stay on the fence about it forever and a day and then have a rough time (mentally) dealing with the scale (and perhaps their pants!). I think it is part of the journey.
I delude myself and call it "water weight." I tell myself it doesn't count because I can take a diuretic and get rid of it. But...even I am having trouble convincing myself that my recent ten pounds is all "water weight." Salt is insidious.
Have fun camping. It is raining here also. Cheerio until next month.
Hope you are having a great time in spite of the rain. My idea of camping is a motel, anyway - an outdoor girl I'm definitely not!
I doubt that you're adding any salt to your food and wonder what you're eating that is so salty. Your menu descriptions all sound healthy and yummy to me :)
I don't add salt to my meals cooked at home, but I eat probably at least 4 meals out per week. It adds up...and up and up and up. :-( Will write more tomorrow...yesterday I literally didn't make ONE good food choice ALL DAY.
