Mmmmm sore muscles!

Wonderful gym yesterday...my muscles are that great sore today that feels GOOD. I have missed that SO much!! :-) I'm baaaaack!

Yippee do dah day!

I'm making a yummy turkey soup for dinner (my best friend, a vegetarian, who cooks for her meat-eating hubby saved the turkey carcass she had for Xmas for me to use!). Soup, maybe movie and bed. Life is good. ;-)

Do you know that you have to be logged in (like you were going to post on your blog) BEFORE you try to leave a comment anywhere? If you forget and are not logged in - and you have already typed out a comment and get that log in prompt - then you highlight ALL of your comment - right click and COPY, go ahead and log in and then paste your comment back in - I think this is probably how you lost yours - it is what always happens to me when I forget to log in first. Please re-type and repost when you have time - NO ONE EVER TALKS TO ME About YOGA here - it will be great!!!!!!

And tell me that you do or do not see fat rolls right at my waist line in the blouse picture - I sure do - not so much today - that picture was about 7 lbs ago - and at this stage - even 2 pounds makes a noticeable difference.

Please tell me that the carcass has been in the freezer!!!!!!

:)

don't over do in your excitement to be back - start back out like you have NEVER been there before - believe me I know - 3 1/2- 4 months off last year - start back gradually . . .

Helen, have you figured out that Vickie is obsessed with her middle? ;-)

Your soup sounds delicious. Since this is getting off-topic...

I looked at your profile and you have some really great movies and books listed. Which Jeanette W. book do you recommend?

Vickie -- Yes, the carcass was in the freezer! ;-) And the soup turned out great. I used brown jasmine rice this year and it's a fantasic flavor with the veggies and rosemary.

Lori -- LOL, yes, I see the Vickie is obsessed with her middle! I think it's because she's in such good shape now and needs SOMETHING to focus on. ;-) Written On The Body is my fave Jeanette book -- The Passion is probably my second. Beautiful prose. :-)

Gotta run...more later...

Believe me - they will ALL tell you that I have been annoyed by my belly since the beginning.

I think I am actually LESS focused on it now.

But seriously - this has been my motivating factor - because my belly fat is literally the last fat to "leave the building/body" - my waist measurement didn't change AT ALL for many, many, many pounds.

And it is not my perception - I may have to take a folded up shirt and folded down bicycle shorts picture for you all to SEE it - because while it is MUCH, MUCH better - it is still there.

Had it not been for having 3 rolls, then 2, then 1 and now pockets of fat (not a continuous roll anymore)- I am sure I would have QUIT many, many pounds ago.

It has been the driving force to loose and it will be the driving force to maintain - because if I gain even 5 pounds back - guess where it will go - that's right.
